How did your family get started?
First our son and then daughter became students. We attended a Parents’ Workshop and continued with a one month trial. We enjoyed it so much that we also decided to join and now we’re all hooked!
How has Tae Kwon Do training helped each of you?
Bobby has gained much better focus. He is also learning that with practice and hard work he can succeed. Alex is very quiet and shy and Tae Kwon Do has helped to develop her confidence. She enjoys participating in the demonstrations and tournaments which is something she would have been reluctant to do before. Tae Kwon Do has helped Bob and me to develop our physical fitness and flexibility.
What would you say to others who are considering getting started but are unsure?
You will feel welcome at Master P’s school no matter what level you start at. It is a great way to spend time with your family while achieving a mutual goal.
What do you think of our Instructors?
All of the Instructors are highly qualified, enthusiastic, helpful, and always willing to help you achieve your goals. They go above and beyond!!!

A quote from one of the kids: “They are Awesome!”

For Jonathan, he has become more fit, more focused, and he concentrates more intensely. For Gabby, her attention span has become stronger and she has more confidence. For myself, I have gained greater fitness, patience, and have become stronger mentally.

We’re training and playing together and having fun doing something that is healthy. I do believe we are a happier family and more able to cope with the stresses of life!

How did you get started with Master P’s World Class Tae Kwon Do?
Master P’s World Class Kids after school program. My son Aiden participated and loved it. At the program’s graduation Aiden and his older brother, Collin, asked if they could sign up. After driving the boys to classes and seeing the families take class together, I figured it was worth a try and I have been hooked ever since.
What benefits were you interested in gaining for each of you?
For Aiden, 6, I hoped that he would gain confidence and the determination that it takes to achieve a goal. For Collin, 14, I was hoping that Tae Kwon Do would provide an activity that we could share. The respect and disciple present in the martial arts are great for the kids and the adults. I, of course, was looking for a good, fun workout!
How has Tae Kwon Do training helped each of you?
The martial arts are great and Master P’s World Class Tae Kwon Do is a first class martial arts experience. Aiden has learned to persevere and that hard work pays off. Collin has learned to work well with others and I think he is learning the importance of hard work too. Tae Kwon Do has improved my overall fitness: flexibility, strength, and lean muscle mass, not to mention a sweet six pack too!!!
What would you say to others who are considering getting started but are unsure?
I would definitely suggest they give it a try. From the family perspective, I think it’s good for the kids to see me working on the same things that they are, that we’re all working toward the same thing together and having fun. Give it a try and I’d bet you break a sweat and crack a smile!
